“I just wanted to pass on my thanks to your office staff and driver for their help and assistance with my pick-up from Sydney Airport last night (28th July). My original plan was to fly home to Sydney from Cairns at 5.15pm and be picked up by Green Tomato at 8.15pm. However in Cairns the Qantas flight was delayed several times, in total about 3 hours.
I contacted Green Tomato several times to inform of the delays and see if I could still get a car, knowing that on a Thurs night you would be very busy. The person I spoke to was so friendly and helpful, and went to a lot of trouble to reassure me that no matter what time the flight came in they would do their utmost to make sure I have a car pick me up. Given how frustrating the delays were and how anxious I was getting, this service was most welcome and made me feel so much better.
Once I finally got to Sydney at 10.30pm I met up with my driver Maree. I have had Maree drive me before and I just wanted to take this opportunity to say how friendly and professional she is. By the time I got to the car I was tired and frustrated and just wanted to get home to my wife who I hadn’t seen for well over a month. Maree obviously recognised me as having driven me before and she remembered who I was, what I did for a living, and the fact I had just got married. When we got to my apartment she recognised my wife immediately.
I felt like I was the most important customer of the day and it made me feel so relaxed and happy after the afternoon/evening I’d had. Can you please pass on my thanks to everyone who helped me out last night and I look forward to travelling with Green Tomato in the future.”
