- Where do you operate?greentomatocars has operations in London and Sydney. We will carry passengers to any destination either in the United Kingdom, New South Wales or Australian Capital Territory. To book a greentomatocar please send an email to book@greentomatocars.com.au, call 1300 72 9998 or use the booking form on this website.
- How do I set up a greentomatocars account?Please call 02 9669 7742 to setup an account today or download our Account Establishment form, complete and fax it through to 02 9669 2229. Anyone can set up an account, be they an individual or a company. Of course, this is subject to the usual credit checks and other standard procedures. For more information, click here.
- What if I miss or need to cancel my booking?In the event that you wish to cancel a booking, please call us on 1300 72 9998 as soon as possible.
- How long will the chauffeur wait if I am late for my booking and is there a charge?You will receive a call or SMS to let you know when your chauffeur has arrived to pick you up. If you do not make it to your greentomatocar within 10 minutes of the pick-up time for regular bookings, or 30 minutes for airport arrival bookings, we will attempt to contact you again. After this time we will call you to advise that the booking will be cancelled and subject to a cancellation fee and/or that waiting charges are applicable. Our current rates for these charges are always available in our Terms and Conditions.
If you know you are going to be late, please call us on 1300 72 9998. This way, we may be able to avoid the above charges.
- How do I pay my greentomatocars fare?You can pay using a debit card, cabcharge or account.
If you do have an account with us, you can pay our monthly invoices by credit card, direct debit or cheque.
- Do you charge extra for multiple drop-offs/pick-ups?Yes, the fare is based on the length of your journey and the number of stops. To avoid any misunderstanding about the fare, please let us know the details of all drop-offs/pick-ups when you make your booking.
- Are greentomatocars and your chauffeurs licensed?Yes, all of our chauffeurs and all of our vehicles are fully licensed in Sydney by the NSW Ministry of Transport.
- How else do you vet your chauffeurs?We interview all our chauffeurs on an individual basis and devote time and resources to making sure they know how to deliver high quality customer service. (This applies equally to the rest of the greentomatocars team, such as the people who take your telephone bookings.)
- How do you ensure passenger safety?The safety of all our passengers is a priority. Thanks to our state of the art SmartMOVE technology, we are able to offer Car and Chauffeur ID. For all bookings, we will send a text message to your mobile phone to tell you the name of your designated chauffeur, their mobile phone number and the registration number of their car, so that you can be sure you are getting into the right car with the right chauffeur. All cars are tracked by GPS with the data files kept for up to 3 years so we can follow your journey in real time or review it at any time later if you wish to view the speed or route of any journey taken.
Child safety is particularly important to us, and we meet the maximum standards of child safety requirements for passenger vehicles in NSW, offering appropriate child restraints for all children, from birth to 7 years of age.
- How do I know your chauffeurs won't get lost, be late?There are two reasons. First, we only employ fully licensed, experienced chauffeurs and we have specifically tested their knowledge of Sydney’s roads. Second, all our cars are fitted with state of the art navigation and traffic alert systems, invaluable equipment for even the most knowledgeable chauffeurs. However, sometimes delays are unavoidable. If your chauffeur is going to be more than 5 minutes late, we will call or, if you prefer, text you to let you know as soon as we become aware of the delay.
Similarly, if you have a preferred route for your journey, our chauffeur will be happy to follow your recommendation.
